Mrs. Bohlmann

Kindergarten

I have been teaching Kindergarten at Salem since 2019. I studied at Martin Luther College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2013. I am MN State Licensed and participate in continuing education. Since graduating, I have had experience teaching various grade levels from birth to Grade 8.

Sharing God’s Word with the children and families I serve is my favorite part of being a teacher! I ask God to help me teach the next generation the truths of God’s Word and Christ’s love as well as provide a positive learning environment for children to grow and develop.

My top five strengths shed some light on how God has wired me as an individual and reflect how I teach. As a learner, I strive to discover how I can help my students grow in areas that are challenging as well as grow myself as a teacher. I love learning! I want to share my enthusiasm about learning with the kids and foster a curiosity to figure out the “why” and “wonder” children have. Three of my strengths are in the interpersonal category. This means I care about the individual, love to teach kids how to do something, and meet the child where he or she is at to find ways to help that child grow. I also have the strategic strength, which means I find the answer to “why” something happens and come up with a plan.

My husband and I have two children. Our favorite thing to do as a family is spend time together—going to the park, playing board games, or watching a movie! When possible, we try to enjoy the outdoors!
