Mrs. Wolff-Hendershot

Band

I hold a degree in Music Education and Instrumental Music and have been blessed with 30 years of teaching experience in grades K–12. I knew in 6th grade that I wanted to be a band teacher, and I’ve enjoyed working with kids ever since. My major instrument in college was bassoon, with minors in clarinet and piano.

I previously taught band, junior choir, and 5th–8th grade general music at Salem Lutheran School from 2014 to 2018, and I am excited to be back currently teaching band at Salem. I also teach band and piano at Cross of Christ and Inspire Music. Music has always been at the center of my life—I currently play oboe in the North Hennepin Community Band, and at Redeemer in Maple Grove, I serve as one of the organist/pianists and lead our congregational band, hand bells, and choir.

My husband and I live in Brooklyn Park, and our twins are currently in college. When I’m not making music, you’ll find me making cards, scrapbooking, gardening, cooking, or arranging music. My faith is the work of the Holy Spirit. Through faith, I am inspired to serve God and mankind.
