Michelle Kantor

Mrs. Kantor

Kindergarten

My name is Michelle Kantor, and I am so grateful to be part of this school community. I went to Concordia University  in Saint Paul to earn an Early Childhood Teaching License  and spent 14 years teaching kindergarten in the Robbinsdale School District. When my school closed, I was saddened, but I felt peace, knowing God had a plan for me. I have always trusted His guidance, and I know He led me here.

My husband, Ben, and I met at the Minnesota State Fair, where his family owns the Space Tower. We’ve been married for 20 years, and he’s now a captain with Sun Country Airlines. We have a son, Harrison, who’s almost 16 and attends West Lutheran High School. He is a student ambassador and enjoys Robotics and Track. He also is in the band and choir. He went to Holy Trinity Lutheran Academy for 7th and 8th grade.

Our family also includes Lucy, our Australian Shepherd, and Blink, my barrel horse. Barrel racing is a big part of my life, and I can’t wait to share the lessons it has taught me—perseverance, responsibility, and dedication—with my students.

We moved to Hanover two years ago, and faith is at the center of everything I do. I depend on God daily for guidance. At our church, I love serving through Awana and Vacation Bible School. I truly believe I was put on this earth to teach, and it is a blessing to partner with families in helping children grow, both academically and in their walk
