Tuition & Fees

A Christ-centered education that is more affordable and accessible than you might think.

Honest Pricing for a Private School That Delivers

One of the first questions families ask about private school is, “Can we afford it?” At Salem Lutheran School, we think you will be surprised by the answer. Our tuition is well below the national average—and the value goes far beyond a price tag.

Your tuition pays for small classrooms where every child is known, experienced teachers who personalize instruction, and a Christ-centered culture that builds character alongside academics. We offer three rate tiers, sibling discounts, flexible payment plans, and need-based financial aid so the conversation is about fit—not finances.

Financial Aid & Payment Options

We want every family who values Christian education to be able to afford it. Salem offers needs-based financial aid through FACTS to help bridge the gap.

Needs-Based Financial Aid

Apply through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. FACTS reviews your family’s financial situation and determines aid eligibility. If you feel the approved amount is not enough, we encourage you to speak with our Principal or Education Committee. We work with families—not against them.

Flexible Payment Plans

Tuition payments are managed through FACTS with options that fit your budget: annual payment, semi-annual payments, or monthly installments spread across the school year.

Minnesota Tax Benefits

Minnesota offers a tax credit for private school tuition and fees. This can reduce your overall cost even further. Consult your tax advisor for details on education credits and deductions available to your family.

We believe cost should not be a barrier to Christian education. If Salem is the right fit for your family, we want to help make it work.
