I have been called to serve in Salem’s preschool classroom since 2013. Since I originally taught in public schools with a 7th–12th grade license in social studies, I went back for early childhood classes and ministry certification at Martin Luther College. Caring for children has been a big part of my life. Teaching in a Christian school is a blessing—I love seeing the children grow in all areas, especially their faith in their Savior Jesus.

My husband and I have been married since 1992 and are blessed with five children, all of whom attended Salem Lutheran School. Since we both attended Christian schools ourselves, it strengthened our faith and we wanted the same for our children. Our children are now adults, and I look forward to spending time with them, whether it’s for holidays, camping, or traveling together. We are also blessed to be grandparents, which is another wonderful adventure!
