I’ve been part of the Salem Lutheran School family since 2017, and I bring vibrant energy to our 5th and 6th-grade homeroom, as well as our 7th and 8th-grade Reading, Music, and Technology programs. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Western Governors University and hold my MLC Synod Certification.
I’m driven by a passion for cultivating lifelong learners. I strive to help every student find joy in their education—even in their most challenging subjects. My favorite moments in the classroom happen when I “stump” my students, pushing them to think critically and solve difficult problems. I believe these are the lessons they remember forever!
Rooted in a joyful faith, I live by Psalm 118:24: “This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!” Originally from Nebraska, my journey took me through Denver, Colorado—where I met my husband—before eventually calling Minnesota home. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me cooking and baking for my family (including my two adult sons and my daughter at West Lutheran), getting lost in a good book, or hiking toward a beautiful waterfall.
Salem Lutheran School partners with families to provide a Christ-centered education to encourage, equip, and educate students for Christian living.
