I have been a teacher at Salem Lutheran School since 2020, serving first as the Extended Learning teacher and now as the 1st and 2nd grade teacher. I have been an educator since 2004, earning my Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College. I attended Salem Lutheran School from Kindergarten through 8th grade, where some of my favorite teachers inspired me to become an educator.

The young primary grades have always been my favorite age group to work with. The joy and excitement these young learners bring to the classroom make each day unique! As an educator, I’m focused on fostering foundational academic, social, and emotional skills in young children, but most importantly on sharing Christ’s love and grace through teaching Bible stories and songs.

My husband and I have two children. Our oldest attends West Lutheran High School and our youngest is a student at Salem. We enjoy attending sporting events, summertime boating, playing with our Labrador, and being outdoors.
