Extended Learning

Hello! My name is Lindsey Stotts, and I am honored to serve as the Extended Learning Teacher at Salem Lutheran School. With a career in education spanning since 2001—including private schools in Golden Valley and Chanhassen as well as the Delano and Rockford public school districts—I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for student growth to our classrooms. I started my degree at the University of Minnesota Morris and finished it at St. Cloud State in Child and Family Studies (Birth to Grade 3).

My journey began on a dairy farm in South Dakota, where I learned the values of hard work and community. Today, I am blessed to be part of the Salem family, not just as an Extended Learning Teacher but also as a parent—my daughter, Lauren, is a current student here. I believe that every child is a unique gift from God, and I strive to create a learning space where each student feels seen, valued, and encouraged both in their faith and their academics.

I became a teacher to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, and my favorite part of the job is watching those “lightbulb moments” when a student masters a new skill. I am thrilled to be at Salem helping students reach their full potential in a Christ-centered environment. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jared, and our daughter at our cabin up north. You can usually find me enjoying a good book, a quality nap, or watching a Twins game. I am a lover of pickles and tacos…just not at the same time! I am always on the search for a good cup of coffee and great conversations with new people.
